The client, serving as the Director of Ecommerce at ITS, represents a retailer specializing in power tools and trade-related equipment. ITS boasts a selection of approximately 20,000 tools commonly utilized by tradesmen, operating as a small B2C entity. Intelivita built an Android version of an iOS app for this power tools retailer, seamlessly integrating it into their retail software solution.

The Solution
The client tasked Intelivita to develop an Android app for their customers. The client integrated the platform with their back office and built a SQL table for it, meaning the platform was built natively.
Intelivita’s team created a complex notification system where the bottom half of the app was geared around content that the client was going to produce and different categories of content.
Within the app, Intelivita developed an actual notification process where different categories have their own notification platform. For example, if the client had a new article in buying guides, users would see a red circle with a number one but receive a separate notification if there was a new video, product, or deal of the day.
Result
The client expressed overall satisfaction with the project outcome, particularly highlighting their contentment with the app's functionality. Acknowledging the internal challenges faced, including coordination with third-party software developers and the IT team, the collaborative effort to align everyone's understanding proved to be worthwhile.
